Company History
Starting as an independent/freelance web designer and developer in 2004, Andy Stratton formed a start-up company named Contemplate Designs. Contemplate was quickly renamed Blue Sky Design Maryland in late 2004.Most of Blue Sky's original projects included favors for friends and family members and pro-bono websites for non-profit organizations such as Caring For Young Minds, Inc. After paying projects started coming in, Blue Sky Multimedia was legally formed as a limited liability corporation in the state of Maryland.
Our Principal
Blue Sky was founded and is currently operated by Andy Stratton. Andy is a full-time web developer with Maxim Healthcare Services, a large health services and medical staffing copmany.Andy holds a B.S. in Computer and Information Systems with a focus in Business Administration from Towson University and currently spends portions of Blue Sky's profits furthering his education via books on industry topics.
Andy is our lead developer/designer quoting his favorite tools as Adobe Photoshop and Zend PHP Studio. He is currently in the processes of enrolling for Zend PHP Training courses to earn his PHP Certification.
